Corinne Zahava Herskovits, a beloved mother and grandmother, and member of the Toronto Lubavitch community, passed away on Sunday, Rosh Chodesh Iyar, 5782.
She was 88.
Corrine Zahava was formerly a resident of Detroit, and a member of the Chabad community there.
She is survived by her sons Yitzchok Goldstein (Crown Heights) and Darryl/Laibel Goldstein (Phoenix) and many grandchildren.
The Levaya will take place in Detroit at a graveside service at the Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery on Wednesday Gimmel Iyar/May 4th at 11:30 am.
Shiva will take place at the home of her son Yitzchok Goldstein at 770 Lefferts Apt. A5L in Crown Heights, NY.

Corinne was truly special with a great Neshama! She used to say that every morning she would wake up and ask Hashem to send her a Mitzvah to do- and she did so many! She had a wonderful sense of humor and such a positive attitude- It was always such a pleasure to spend time with her. She gave compliments freely to everyone around her- even to her fellow residents at the Baycrest nursing home, lifting their spirits. So much to learn from her….
