14 new police officers who have recently joined the NYPD 71st Precinct in Crown Heights, have received training on the sensitivities and needs of the Jewish community from community member Rabbi Yossi Rapp.
The new officers were briefed on the basics of Jewish life, such as Shabbos, Yom Tov, the large 770 Shul, and other issues which arise in the Jewish community and the Crown Heights neighborhood specifically.
