For the Rebbe’s 120th birthday, West Coast Head Shliach Rabbi Boruch Shlomo Cunin decided on presenting the Rebbe with two gifts.
One was to publish a Sefer HaShluchim featuring pictures of the over 400 Shluchim serving in California and Nevada along with pictures of their families and Mosdos. The goal is to have that new Sefer on the Rebbe’s desk by Yud Alef Nissan to join the other volumes of the Sefer Hashluchim that the Rebbe left on his desk before the stroke on Chof Zayin Adar (which were the only Seforim the Rebbe left then on his desk).
Today, the new Sefer was placed on the Rebbe’s desk together with the other previous volumes of the Sefer Hashluchim.
The second gift was to commit to opening 120 new West Coast Mosdos by Yud Alef Nissan. B”H not only was that goal met; it was surpassed. As of today, there are 138 new Mosdos open.
