In the Holy Land of Israel, the priestly blessing is recited every Shabbos by Kohanim.
A rabbi once approached a Kohen and asked him why he refuses to say the blessing week after week.
The man responded, “To tell you the truth, I smoked a cigarette today. How will I bless others with the same mouth that desecrated Shabbos?”
The rabbi responded, “Go give the blessing, and ask yourself, ‘How could the mouth that blesses smoke on Shabbos?’”
