Nshei U’bnos Chabad is committed to being a beacon of light in the darkest times.
For over 70 years, Neshei U’bnos Chabad has taken upon themselves the great task of illuminating the world with the light of Torah and Mitzvos.
From inspiring classes and farbrengens within the community, to weekly mivtzoyim in the sweltering heat of the summer, and the snowy winter days, you’ll find our women in the bustling street corners of NYC, supermarkets, and boardwalks with stands filled with pamphlets, shabbat candles, holiday guides brimming with words of Torah, and a warm smile.
Through the years Nshei Chabad has done programs in Nursing homes on weekly basis and before every Yomtov.
When the pandemic hit and lockdown ensued we reimagined our programs on how to connect with the elderly. We created virtual programs including video productions and weekly special “Jewish Connection” packages that include transliterated candle lighting blessings and times, a dvar Torah carefully prepared by our own team of women on the Parsha, Yoma Depagra or Yomtov, presented in a clear easy to read format designed especially with seniors in mind and sent to over 40 senior centers and shared with hundreds of people on social media.

Chana Marosov runs a full mivtzoyim operation from her home, buying material, coordinating volunteers, finding drivers, etc etc Mivtzoyim is her full time occupation- which she does just for the rebbe without receiving a penny!
