The Lubavitch Youth Organization spread the light of Chanukah with five public Menorahs throughout New York City.
These included the Bower Park Menorah on Kingston Avenue and Park Place in Crown Heights; The JFK Airport Menorah; The Foley Square Menorah by the Court Houses in Manhattan; The Bushwick Inlet Park Menorah, at the Centerpiece of the Greenpoint-Williamsburg Waterfront; The Park Circle Menorah, at the gateway of Crown Heights, Boro Park and Flatbush.
“This is the teaching of the Rebbe to spread the Lights of Chanukah,” said Rabbi Yossi Butman, Director Special Events of the Lubavitch Youth Organization.
Rabbi Yossi Butman thanked the NYPD for their cooperation. “it is a pleasure to deal with ‘New York’s Finest’ and witness their work with efficiency and dedication,” Rabbi Butman said.
