Rabbi Schneur Zalman Blumenfeld Z”L, the Head Shliach of Peru, established a vibrant, growing Jewish community in Lima, Peru over 30 years ago, which serves as a source of Judaism, warmth and outreach to so many Jews in Peru.
On Friday night, 24 Cheshvan, Rabbi Blumenfeld tragically passed away.
Chabad of Peru established many programs to revitalize Jewish communal life. In addition, they are there for the tourists, back-packers, businessmen, as well as taking care of the many people who came to Peru and became entangled with the law.
Chabad of Peru has many staff including cooks and maintenance staff, drivers, teachers, secretarial and management.
Rabbi Blumenfeld was the sole fundraiser and driving force behind this Chabad House and additional branches in Peru.
Chabad Peru must continue!
His family, his entire community, needs our help to continue his incredible work!
A group of long standing dedicated friends, some of whom have worked with him for almost 35 years, have joined together to ensure his work continues
This is OUR opportunity to come together for a fellow Yid, Shliach and friend, and help his life’s work and mission continue to flourish.
You can help ensure that the Jewish community in Peru will continue, to grow and thrive, and that each Jewish soul in Peru will be reached and ignited.
Together we can ensure that 30 YEARS OF SHLICHUS WILL LIVE ON!
Rabbi Uri was a real example of a Chosid, mekushar & devoted Shaliah!
