Bochurim and Talmidim-Shluchim of Yeshiva Toras Emes in Jerusalem paid a special visit to the holy city of Chevron.
The occasion was the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Yeshiva by the Rebbe Rashab. The Yeshiva originally operated in Chevron and later moved to Jerusalem.
Leading the trip were Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Avrohom Lapidus, Rabbi Tuvia Zilberstrom – Rav of the Shikun Chabad neighborhood in Jerusalem and mashpiim of the Yeshiva.
They first visited and davened at Mearas Hamachpela and visited the Mitteler Rebbe‘s shul which is called the Chabad Shul in the Avraham Avinu neighborhood.
A highlight of their trip was a farbrengen at the Beit Romano, a building built in 1879 by the wealthy Turkish Jewish merchant and which was purchased by the Rebbe Rashab in 1912 for Toras Emes Yeshiva.
A few years earlier, the building was home to the famous Rabbi Chaim Hezekiah Medini who opened a Yeshiva there and completed writing his Talmudic encyclopedia, the “Sde Chemed.”
The bochurim received the tour of the building which stands five stories tall and heard about the rich history of the building and the special connection of Chabad Rebbes to Chevron.

The important thing is we all should continue on Davening to Heshem and we want Moshiach now
