The Chabad community in Montreal gathered together Motzei Shabbos at the Beis Medrash for a special farbrengen.
The Farbrengen marked 80 years since the establishment of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Montreal in 5702.
Addressing the fabrengen were Head Shliach Rabbi Berel Mochkin, Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Leibel Kaplan, Rabbi Yitzchok Meir Gurary, and others.

























Montreal Tomchei Temimim was built by the Otvotzker talmidim who came to Montreal in 1942, during WW2. The first building to be built from scratch for a Lubavitcher Mosed in N. America, and quite possibly the world (after WW2), was the Yeshiva in Montreal, thanks to the visionaries Otvotzker temimim led by Rabbi Kramer Z’L.

I live in Montreal and it never ceases to amaze me of how many people were touched and have lasting positive impressions of Rabbi Kramer, Everybody knew him People came to him for advice He was invited to lots of people’s children’s weddings, bar Mitzvahs.
