This Sunday marks one month since Jewish Girls Unite launched Creative Online Club 5782, where girls around the world in grades 2-8 explore their creativity and Torah themes together with friends.
Taking place each Sunday, the extracurricular program has steadily attracted 15-20 girls weekly and the group continues to grow.
The annual theme, “We Are the World” introduces wonders of Hashem’s creations and the Jewish year through educational activities and creative expression guided by skilled instructors and devoted counselors.
In addition to activities such as art, games, songs, discussion, drama, fitness, debate, writing, and culinary arts, the 5782 program includes a book club and the Shining Stars leadership program as monthly special features.
Following a successful launch of Shining Stars on September 12 featuring Eden Levi, teen author of Spiritual Sunshine, JGU looks forward to spotlighting other positive role models who are using their gifts to elevate their families, communities, or world.
This Sunday, October 12, Creative Online Club includes:
11:00 am ET – Icebreakers & Theme Activity
11:50 am ET – Art with Chana Laber @laberoflove
12:30 pm ET – Shining Stars, featuring Elisheva Resnick and Maital Ledder, co-founders and editors of Mashehu Magazine, connecting a community of creative Jewish girls with “something for everyone!”

Jewish Girls Unite will be releasing more information as regular programming resumes following the High Holidays, including JGU Virtual School, Bat Mitzvah & Beyond Club, G.R.O.W. Connection Circles for women and teens, and more.
“Our students have grown tremendously from their involvement in JGU, giving them an opportunity to develop their creative skills, confidence, and connection to Yiddishkeit,” says Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion assistant principal Raizel Nissim. The “positive energy” students acquired in JGU “impacted their studies and peer relationships,” she adds.
The JGU mission is to empower a global community of Jewish girls and women through creative approaches in education and technology to celebrate their Judaism, grow meaningful connections, and utilize their gifts to lead joyful, balanced, purposeful lives.
