“Soldiering On” explores the life of Reb Zalman Bronstein, who during WWII was drafted into the Red Army.
Reb Zalman’s time in the Red Army is chronicled in detail by author and historian Dovid Zaklikowski. The soldier was saved on several occasions in the merit of his singing talent.
The biography was distributed as a memento, at the wedding of Dovie Levy and Pessi Fischer in Augusta, Georgia.
In addition to the biography of Reb Zalman, it includes a biography of Reb Shmuel Pewzner and guidance from the Rebbe to family members, including Rabbi Yehoshua Pinson, Rabbi Yosef Bronstein and Rebbetzin Malka Levy.
It also includes, the first of its kind, a transcript of a yechidus of Rabbi Berel Levy, the trailblazing CEO of OK Kosher, with the Rebbe about an upcoming trip to the Soviet Union.
