Additionally, many teachers and educators are seeking ways to teach their students about the Rebbe, how to connect with him, and how to fulfill our generation’s unique mission. For many, however, finding an age-appropriate method to transmit these fundamental subjects proves challenging.
In recent years, Vaad Or Vechom Hahiskashrus has provided curriculums for schools on chassidishe yomei d’pagra. The feedback from teachers was enthusiastic, and many parents related how their children passionately shared what they had learned.
Leading up to Gimmel Tammuz, a two-part curriculum entitled “Dor Hashvi’i: Our Rebbe. Our Mission” is being presented. Children will be taught about the role of the Nasi Hador throughout history, starting with Moshe and continuing throughout the ages to our day. It will then explore the mission the Rebbe tasked every one of us with as a part of the Seventh Generation (Dor Hashvi’i): to bring about the coming of Moshiach through spreading Yiddishkeit and the Rebbe’s teachings to every Yid and the whole world.
The curriculum includes animated videos, powerpoint presentations, interactive activities and special collages of videos of the Rebbe, all presented in an engaging manner to provide the most dynamic learning experience.
