The Soul II Soul concert may not have taken place due to the coronavirus, but it didn’t take away the need for yiddishe kinderlach with special needs to have the right school, a Jewish school, in which to learn.
While NY City has many available educational, therapeutic options for them to learn in, at little or no cost (in a public school setting) these services are not in a Jewish environment.
NY City also has many available JEWISH educational, therapeutic options that are prohibitively expensive! For one child alone, a parent is required to pay anywhere from $40,000-$125,000 annually!
Chasdei Soul II Soul has been offering financial support to parents facing this huge obligation. Your support in past years has helped this opportunity become a reality for yiddishe kinderlach, neshomos learning Torah in a frum environment while getting the support and services needed.
Although there has not been a fundraising event, our community still came through so there is a limited amount of funding available.
