Air raid sirens, running to shelters, sleepless nights are accompanied by a constant feeling of fear.
Just this Shabbos, a rocket hit next door to the Chabad Center. Baruch Hashem, noone was injured.
Instead of waking up to the sound of the siren, the children woke up to the sounds of the familiar and beloved ice cream truck.
Between rocket barrages and sirens, between hysteria and running for shelter the Chabad Houses in Ashdod, led by Rabbi Shneur Goodman, gave the children a break and a light refreshment.
