Purim celebrations started with a beautiful wedding of a young couple of the CYP Kyiv community, directed by Rabbi Ariel and Cherry Markovitch.
Throughout the day of Purim, the bochurim of the Kyiv Smicha Program, directed by Rabbi Elchonon Kuperman, read Megillah to many jews around the city and distributed hundreds of Mishlochei Manos.
On Friday, an hour before candle lighting and keeping all of Ukraine’s safety restrictions, Chabad Lubavich Kiev was able to celebrate Purim with a beautiful, joyful outdoor event that attracted many.
Purim was celebrated as it should with Music, Megila reading, drinks, costumes, and a festive meal. The party continued into Shabbos and throughout the night with a heartful Farbrengen led by the Shliach and Chief Rabbi of Kyiv, Rabbi Yonathan Markovitch and his wife Elka.
