Starting tonight, the Sefer Tehillim will be completed 5 thousand times.
Which part will be YOURS?
Are you Yeshivish? Lubavitch? Are you Belz? Satmar? Sefardic?
We tend to divide ourselves by our external differences.
As individuals and communities, we are so busy coming, going, doing wonderful things… Our chessed organizations are busier than ever; our learning opportunities have expanded across the globe.
Where is Moshiach?! Why are we still in Golus? Most importantly, what can we still do that we haven’t yet done?
We can come together as one family. We can turn to our Father, our voice immeasurably strengthened by our unity, to daven – no, to beg! – for the Geula Sheleima.
Tefilla sounds too simplistic to be powerful. Yet back in Mitzrayim, when the tragedy of golus became too great to bear, we cried out to Hashem from the depths of our hearts. “Va’nitzak.” We screamed. We brought our intense pain to Hashem. And Hashem heard our cry. Hashem then saved us.
Each of us talking to Hashem on our own – that’s a good thing. All of us talking to Hashem together – that takes us to a whole new level of impact. There’s nothing that melts a parent’s heart more than siblings coming together with absolute unity. When we cry to Hashem with one voice, Hashem will surely grant us the one miracle we all need – the Geula Sheleima.
Tonight is the yartzeit of Rochel Imeinu. Our dear matriarch, Rochel, the quintessential Yiddishe Mamme, knew the pain of deception and loneliness. She knew the fear of terrible darkness; she knew the suffering of unmet needs. And she knew the joy of unconditional giving. She knew how to love her sister. She knew how to sacrifice for her children. Rochel Imeinu’s voice is heard on High, as she begs and pleads for our Geula. Tonight and tomorrow, on her Yartzeit, when her soul has increased strength, let’s storm the heavens with unified Tefilla!
In communities across the globe, Klal Yisroel will be joining to complete sefer Tehillim FIVE THOUSAND TIMES.
Be part of this initiative! Get your family and friends to join as well! Together, we can really bring Moshiach.
It takes just a few moments to say a chapter of Tehillim. And the power is immeasurable – especially when the entire Klal Yisroel is coming together to say it as one, with one heart!
Here’s how to be part of this massive endeavor:
Click on the link below. Take on a Tehillim commitment. Or take on the commitment to divide the Tehillim ONCE amongst your family, friends or workmates; the Tehillim should ideally be said during the 24 hours of Rochel Imeinu’s yartzeit – from Wednesday night through Thursday night.
If you’re taking on the commitment of an entire sefer Tehillim, email to vanitzak5781@gmail.com so that your Tehillim can be added to the global count.
May Hashem respond to our effort with a resounding YES – with the coming of Moshiach now.
