Family and friends of Shaina bas Basia , a young mother who is undergoing surgery on Purim, are asking you to give a shalach manos on her behalf.
In honor of a speedy recovery for Shaina, please put aside a shalach manos and give it to someone who you think may not get one, they asked.
“This Purim, we want to bring a smile to someone’s face the way Shaina would,” they said.
“It can be anyone – someone who is in the hospital, a senior living alone, a classmate of your child, a neighbor who doesn’t know much about Purim, someone who isn’t in the inner social circle…anyone for whom a Purim gift would light up their face with a huge smile.”
Please take a picture of the gift basket and send it to Shaina, so when she wakes up from surgery she will be able to look through all the pictures knowing how bright Purim was for so many people because of her.”
