"Tu B'Av"?!
August 15, 2019 11:23 am

What is “Tu B’Av”? Chamisho Osor B’Ov I know about, but “Tu”?! When did people start using such a name for it? Even for the corresponding day in Shevat it’s an ugly innovation, but at least it’s been around for about a century, so people have unfortunately become accustomed to it. But when did they start doing the same thing to this day?

tes vov = tu

But the Rebbe never used TU. Because other terms are mishnah and gemorah terms and have special gematriyos etc.

Tu is never used.

The number after yud dalet is tes vov, not “tu”.
