Chabad Yeshivas around the world are abuzz with preparations for Yud Shvat, the day the Rebbe assumed leadership of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement.
With less than a week left to Yud Shvat, Bochurim around the world are preparing to spend Yud Shvat at the Rebbe’s Ohel and 770, learning this year’s Bosi Legani Ma’amorim, and taking on HachlotosTovos.
In Crown Heights, the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim are working to prepare a full schedule of programming for Yud Shvat and the grand International Kinus Hatmimim. The Vaad has been working to keep the program inspirational and meaningful while retaining the extraordinary energy and koach that the Temimim feel during this special Kinus.
This year’s event will take place at Oholei Torah hall on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, moving from its usual venue so as to accommodate the largest crowd of Bochurim from around the world.
The gathering, which has gained world renown as one of the largest annual gatherings of bochurim, will feature addresses by Rabbi Yossi Klyne, Mashpia in Yeshivas Lubavitch Baltimore, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Gurevitz, Mashpia in Tomchei Tmimim, Migdal Haemek, and Rabbi Mendel Schapiro, Mashpia in Yeshivas Or Elchonon Los Angeles.
Farbrengens throughout the night will follow, with a special Farbrengen for Yeshivos Ketanos.
Other special highlights are in the works, including a special video presentation of the Rebbe and a lineup of guest mashpiim that is sure to have every bochur leaving inspired and charged.
The Kinus will take place Yud Alef Shvat, Motzei Shabbos at 8:30 p.m. in Oholei Torah Hall in Crown Heights.
The Yud Shevat programming is made possible by Reb Yossi Kazarnovsky L’iluy Nishmas his parents Rabbi Moshe and Mrs. Liba Golda Kazarnovsky, by Reb Kasriel Shemtov L’iluy Nishmas his parents Rabbi Mendel and Mrs. Sarah Shemtov and by Reb Yosef Yitzchak Popack in memory of his father Reb Shmuel Isaac Halevi A”H.
