Hundreds of Chassidim and bochurim participated in the annual Siyum Harambam celebration at the Chabad Yeshiva Zal in Montreal, Canada, on Thursday.
Emceed the event was Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Raskin and it began with a video of the Rebbe emphasizing the importance of daily learning of the Rambam’s Mishne Torah.
Speakers included Montreal’s Chief Rabbi Binyomin Weiss, Lubavitch Dayan Rabbi Berel Bell, the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Leibel Kaplan, R’ Meir Hirsh, and Yosef Liberow, a Talmid Shliach in the Yeshiva.
A guest speaker of the celebration and the farbrengen that followed it was Rabbi Chaim Shaul Brook, Director of Lahak publications in New York.
Participants received a memento of handwritings from the Rebbe written over the years to the Siyum Harambam celebrations.
