Play It Cool!
Have you ever been thrown off track of a situation by someone or something unexpected?
What is emotional intelligence? How do we apply it to our day to day lives when dealing with different people and their different temperaments and natures?
Mikvah.org is proud to present our end of the year event; “It’s Summer! Play it Cool.” What a way to end off an incredible year filled with exceptional events, reviews and sessions targeting Taharas Hamishpacha and Jewish Women!
This final event of the 5778 season, features Mrs. Rus Devorah Wallen LCSW, ACSW, founder of Toratherapeutics®️. Mrs. Wallen is an accomplished musician, performer, social worker, psychotherapist, and educator. She utilizes her rich educational background to augment her natural abilities to inspire and heal.
Her advanced clinical training in several areas infuse her presentations with practical ideas to implement, and improve our emotional well-being. Rus Devorah is experienced in conducting workshops on a wide variety of subjects. By distilling eternal Torah concepts, she creates cutting-edge, research-based practical tools for the lay public.
Rus Devorah will help us explore our emotional intelligence, and guide us on how to express our feelings wisely and productively.
The evening will be chaired by one of our Kallah Teachers in Training, Mrs. Ruthie Sperlin. Ruthie is a loving mother and resident of Crown Heights for over 30 years; she is also a trained Safety Kid presenter for the past 5 years.
“When speaking to different friends, most did not know what emotional intelligence is. We are excited to bring this topic to the floor and empower women to understand themselves better,” said Devorah L. E.
The event will take place at Lubavitch Yeshiva, 570 Crown Street. Doors open at 8:00 pm. The first 50 women to arrive before 8:30 pm will receive a lovely door prize.
Exciting raffles; include a family or birthday photo shoot by Zissel G. Photography, a kitchen package sponsored by Kettle and Cord and Welcome Home, and a Split the Pot raffle. Tickets are available for purchase at the door. Your support helps Mikvah.org continue their important work! Donate now! mikvah.org/donate.

Can someone please confirm if (all) the presentations from Mikva.Org are somehow available and if so how to obtain them. It seems a shame that those of us that are international, miss out on such Vital information. I refer to the conference calls too as these are usually scheduled for local times and it means the middle of the night for some of us.
Thank you.
