Bais Rivkah is running a week-long Pushkah Campaign this Sunday, June 3, Sivan 20, through Thursday, June 7, Sivan 24.
B”H many new initiatives have been instituted this year to try to put Beth Rivkah on better financial footing. One of them included mailing a Beth Rivkah Pushkah to every Crown Heights home earlier in the year.
Additional Pushkahs can be picked up at any of our school offices, or can be mailed to any address upon request. All proceeds collected from the Pushkah Campaign are earmarked towards the Bais Rivkah Scholarship Fund.
There are two good deeds whose impact is immediately recognized: Charity and education. Charity provides the needy with the sustenance they need. Education provides individuals with the necessary tools for growth. Undoubtedly, linking charity with education is doubly impactful.
In the words of the our Rebbe, (5710), “I am joining together with those that are Mitzva-doers, who are taking part in the special campaign for Beth Rivkah [that they should be able] to pay off their debts, It is my hope, that all of Ana”sh will do so, all those that the institution that my holy father-in-law established is dear in his eyes, and He (the Rebbe) will evoke mercy for them and their families, may they live and be well, that they should be blessed with that they need materially and spiritually.”
If you have a full Beth Rivkah Pushka at home or an unlabeled Pushkah please bring it in to one of our school offices at 310 Crown Street, 470 Lefferts Avenue, or 405 Lefferts Avenue. You can also email us at Pushkah@bethrivkah.edu with your home address and we will come pick it up.
In the great z’chus of tzedakah and chinuch, may we be zoche to what the chachomim tell us “גדולה צדקה שמקרבת את הגאולה”, with the coming of Moshiach now!
Thank you for your support of Bais Rivkah,
