Three months ago, a new Whatsapp series featuring a weekly Rebbe story for women and girls was launched by JEM’s My Encounter with the Rebbe project.
The series is the result of the Our Story initiative in which Chabad high schools and seminary students across the world set out to record women’s untold stories of the Rebbe.
The stories present the Rebbe’s advice regarding a variety of issues pertaining to day to day life, including getting enough cleaning help, dealing with “stage fright”, guidance about marriage and caring for children, etc.
In this week’s story, Mrs. Devorah Alevsky shares shares a fascinating exchange between her and the Rebbe before her engagement.

“Over two thousand women and girls have already signed up to the series and the feedback has been tremendous,” Rabbi Yechiel Cagen, director of the project, says.
