The Yeshiva Summer Program is just one week underway, and it’s been off to a smashing start. The learning, the davening, the leagues and of course some trips, have been producing many happy bochurim.
Always looking to increase, this year YSP has started something new, something different.
In addition to watching a short clip of the Rebbe each night, it was decided to take things to a higher and more meaningful level.
With the help of JEM, who has just released the farbrengen of Yud Beis Tammuz 5737 with full English subtitles, it was decided that the entire Yeshivas Kayitz would learn to experience a farbrengen of the Rebbe. With 8 Sichos, the Talmidim would watch one sicha each week.
The Talmidim first learned the sicha with their Magidei Shiurim from booklets prepared by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim, and on Yud Beis Tammuz the entire Yeshivas Kayitz joined together to watch the first sicha.
Needless to say, the experience was simply incredible! Sitting in a room packed with ba’’h over 220 Talmidim, each one with their eyes glued to the Rebbe’s farbrengen, singing together with the chassidim, left a feeling that’ll last a lifetime.
“As we look forward to watching the next sicha, we hope and daven that our Yeshivas Kayitz should continue to give the Rebbe nachas, and to soon see the Rebbe and be able to join in a farbrengen together with the Rebbe b’gashmius, speedily in our times,” the camp’s head counselor said.
