A study group of businessmen in Manchester, UK, meets daily after Shacharis, to begin their day with a Torah Shiur.
Similar programs have been initiated in North West London, Edgware. Gateshead and Stamford Hill.
At a recent Shiur, the group heard a presentation from Rabbi Dov Ber Klein, on his recently published book Sea Traveler – A Step-by-Step Guide to Prayer and Chassidic Meditation.
Rabbi Klein, an educator in Manchester, inspired the Shiur participants on the topic of focusing the distracted mind in Tefillah.
Sea Traveler provides techniques for focusing the mind along with a structured system of contemplation for developing a joyful and increasingly deeper attachment to Hashem as one’s Tefilla proceeds.
The book garnered praise from Dayan Levi Raskin, Rav of the Lubavitch community in London, England, and Rabbi Gershon Miller, Mashgiach at the prestigious Gateshead Yeshiva.
