But the regulations in New York didn’t allow passengers to disembark from a boat that arrives after 4 pm. AMERICA IS NISHT ANDERSH!!
March 7, 2017 5:04 pm

i believe the statement “america is nisht andersh” was said on yud adar, because the Frierdiker Rebbe Arrived in America on Shabbos Tes Adar, but since it was past 4;00 oclock when it arrived, people only got off on yud adar.

The 60 alumni were nominated through a voting campaign beginning at the Kinus HaShluchim, and, despite the diverse fields they currently find themselves in—some Shlichus, some Rabbonus, some Chinuch and others business— they are united by the burning passion to be lamplighters and inspire others that was instilled within each one of them.

Disagree with #1…we shouldn’t expect anything different from a school that teaches Hebrew studies all day for an alumni to graduate and become a rabbi. What would be more special to honor the alumni with “NO” business education who have succeeded in the business world who have stayed true to their values. Now that’s something….
