On Motzoei Shabbos, students from Lubavitcher Yeshiva grades 3-5 gathered with their fathers and grandfathers for the annual Father & Son Melava Malka.
The evening started with learning a Sicha from the Rebbe about the importance of every Jewish child. Just like Shevet Levi, every child is counted, even from when he is very young, as an important part of Klal Yisroel.
Hatomim Yechiel Piekarsky lead the recitation of the Rebbe’s Kapitel.
Rabbi Goldstein emceed the event, and shared a story of the Ba’al Shem Tov saving a Neshama. Rabbi Wircberg’s Kita Gimel class performed a beautiful Nigun that relates to the Neshama’s journey into this world and the purpose of its being in Olam Hazeh.
Chaim Fogelman enthralled the audience with some of his classic songs as well as a beautiful song about a Shliach starting out on his Shlichus, followed by Simchas Adar dancing. An encore of dancing followed Birkas Hamazon.

We are so fortunate to have Rabbi Chaim Fogelman as our Shul Rabbi! The song you mention in the article is indeed beautiful – heard it for the first time at an Itchke’s Shtiebel Kumzitz! Thanks for the pictures
