Boys Exhibit The 39 Melachos

In honor of 22 Shvat, students of the 6th Grade Ohr Menachem in Crown Heights together with their dedicated Melamed Rabbi Avraham Meir Sherr prepared a most beautiful and creative Hakhel event.

After toiling for 5 months in the intricacies of Hilchos Shabbos, the Avos and their Tuldos, and Gzeiros D’rabanan, the Talmidim invested talent and creativity in preparing an expo of “39 Melachos Shabbos – Brought to life” on Sunday, Oir L’22 Shvat the parents of Kita vov visited the Eshel Hall for the first viewing of the expo.

After the initial tour, all parents enjoyed refreshments while listening to every boy present his artwork.

The parents enjoyed thoroughly and left enlightened with new applications of even complex halachos. Parents expressed their appreciation for all Rabbi Sherr continuously invests in their children.

Monday afternoon in honor of Chof Beis Shvat, every class in Cheider had their chance to come to our “Hakhel_lunchroom”. There, after seeing a live demonstration by the students of kita vov, they went around to explore and ask the older boys questions.

A special Yasher Koach to the principal Rabbi Menachem Mendel Yusewitz for his assistance, and to Rabbi Zalman Goldstein for coordinating the Cheider demonstrations.
