Whether you are new to shidduchim or a veteran, this year’s Shidduch conference will bring together all the pieces of the puzzle for successful shidduchim in one day.
Hosted by the The International Shidduch Group Network on Sunday, November 9th/16 Cheshvan, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Beis Levi Yitzchak, 556 Crown St., in Crown Heights, all women involved in making/seeking shidduchim are invited.
A partnership with Rabbi Manis Friedman will gift to every attendee a free copy of Part 1 of his Online Dating Course designed to prepare bochurim and girls for dating and marriage. To facilitate continued profile sharing after the conference, a partnership with ChabadMatch will allow conference attendees to register on ChabadMatch, waiving the annual fee. ChabadMatch, a database of Chabad singles worldwide, has a dedicated network of matchmakers.
The packed one-day conference program will offer opportunities for networking, profile sharing, and on-site training during two powerful panel discussions. The morning panel discussion entitled, “Nuts and Bolts of Shidduchim” will be moderated by Miryam Swerdlov with panelists Rabbi Yitzchok Dubov, educator, shadchan and mashpia; Mrs. Esther Friedman, Shidduch coach and Temperament Certified Professional; and Mrs. Chaya Sara Gurewicz, shadchan and coach. To arrange private appointments, for a fee, with one of the shadhanim/coaches email: shidduchgroupnetwork@gmail.com.
Pressing questions and issues submitted from members of the International Shidduch Group Network will be addressed including but not limited to:
How do you know a single is ready for shidduchim?
How to conduct research? How to decide who to meet?
My daughter/son never gets any dates. Everybody rejects me/us. What do I do?
My daughter/son has had many dates and finds something wrong with everyone.
Following lunch and networking, Kivi Bernhard, award winning keynote speaker and author, will speak on “Getting to the Goal”. The afternoon panel discussion entitled, “How to Help our Children/Singles Get Engaged and Married Only Once” will be moderated by shadchan and coach, Rabbi Moshe Raitman with panelist Mrs. Devora Krasnianski, founder of Adai Ad Institute, in addition to the speakers from the morning panel discussion. This renowned and experienced team of shachanim, coaches and educators will identify causes of the growing number of broken engagements/divorces and offer solutions.
“Never before have shadchanim, coaches, trainers, singles and parents been brought together in one place at one time to network, learn and make shidduchim,” says Elana Bergovoy, President of the Shidduch Group Network.
“The Shidduch Group Network is founded on achdus, simcha and Ahavas Yisroel and the principle that ‘Givers Gain,'” Mrs. Bergovoy explains. “We focus more on the ‘U’ in shidduchim than the ‘I’. Members give suggestions to one another, build relationships, and receive suggestion in return. We help each other celebrate simchas and build lasting friendships.”
The International Shidduch Group Network has a tested and true recipe leading to successful matchmaking for Jewish singles based upon Torah values and the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
Since its inception over nine years ago, Shidduch Groups have facilitated hundreds of shidduchim. Over four dozen groups in eight countries and thirty-six cities meet on a regular basis to learn the Rebbe’s directives on shidduchim and put them into practice, share profiles of singles, celebrate simchas of couples brought together from across the globe and much more.
