Chasidic recording artist Eli Marcus has released the first music video from his new album Dovid Hamelech. The video, set to the title track, takes a fresh and exciting look into a “day in the life”.
Composed by legendary composer Yossi Green, the music video was directed by Chaim Hershkowitz and filmed by CJ Studios.
In a world of fancy footwork and special effect, i appreciated the down to earth tone of this video. it’s like the music — low key and deep, not loud and shallow.
thank you for going against the grains and keeping it, well, gluten free.
ps not all gluten is bad. just the bad kind.
I LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTT

No question, Eli is the most talented Marcus brother. Kol hakavod brotha, keep spreading the love!!!!!!!!!!

1. Love the video and song. 2. True. My relatives are Chabad and they ate at their house many years ago. They lived near San Diego. The parents are very erhliche yidden.
Eli Marcus is the shorter one in 8th days brother, also the taller ones brother. – They are called the Marcus brothers.
I’m a big fan of Eli’s from many of my friends’ weddings. Awesome to see him breaking into the mainstream Jewish music scene. Kol hakavod Eli!
great song great video great album
This song is so amazing!! Great job on video!
Go Eli!
Great CD, Great Song. Can’t wait for more!
his name is yossi green. the biggest composer is shlomo carlebach. by far. green might be a distant second. not to disrespect but reb shlomo is reb shlomo. with regard to this artist very refreshing clean sound. was skeptical. who needs yet another singer? but the kid wins you over. re the video, its decent. the song drives it though.
Quality 🎶, superb video. This will put Eli Marcus on the map just like Yalili put 8th Day on the map. What strikes me so strongly is the resemblance to one of the 8th day singers, the shorter one. Looks like a twin too me. Thanks for this great video and music. My kids will surely enjoy it.
All i can say is, wow, wow, and double wow!
from tisha ba’v to this, feels like a good injection of happy juice in a challenging world.
i grew up on Eli’s uncle’s music, and i see the same aidelkeit projecting through, and another gift to the Jewish people.
Proud to be a fellow californian and hope you will play at my wedding too.
Ezra L.
to number 5 – generally there is nothing to “get” about a music video.. you’re just accustomed to gan yisroel plays.
also its Yossi Green..
Eli you rocccckkkk!!!!!
But I don’t get the music video..
And to number 3: Are you saying that gluten is garbage? Never heard that before.. ;);) Ok, on the serious side, the reason why it sounds like normal Jewish music to you is because Eli Green composed it. He is possibly the biggest composer of Jewish music.
Beautiful!
This song (including this wonderful music video) is like the gluten free of jewish music. its music without all the garbage that normally gets inflicted on jewish music rendering it unhealthy for our children.
When i listen to this i feel like there is a OK/OU attached to it. keep up Eli!
–Your biggest fan, Hoping you will sing at my wedding!
just what we need after tisha b’av. Sh’koach!!!
Watching over and over… Great job Eli!!
