Blind Lawyer Inspires at Aliya

This past Thursday night Richard Bernstein from the “Bernstein Law Offices” in Detroit, Michigan came to inspire the young members of Aliya. A room full of young men sat quietly and listened to Richard share his enormous life struggles. (Being blind was only the beginning) and how he learned from them and grew.

Richard in his blind state went through law school, opened his own law firm and fought the airline industry to make them more “handicap friendly,” and ran 17 marathons, plus competed in an Ironman Triathlon.
