On Motzoei Shabbos Chanukah a Car Menora parade was held in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Before the parade a lighting was held at Adath Israel Synagogue arranged and coordinated by Rabbi Mayer Rubinfeld.
After sharing some lessons from the strory of Chanukah, M.C. Rabbi Menachem Mendel Feller called upon his father Head Shliach Rabbi Moshe Feller who shared a Chanukah message from the Rebbe.
S-. Paul City Councilman Mr. Chris Tolbert who represents the Shul neighborhood addressed the assembled relaying that even as a non-Jew the lesson of Chanukah teaches all mankind the importance of every good deed. He then lit the Shamosh. The menorah was kindled by Mr. Mordechai Amrami and delicious refreshments were enjoyed.
After special parade instructions were given by the S-. Paul Police Department sergeant the cars formed the procession escorted by the police. Many honked their horns, marveled and waved as the procession traveled to the State Capitol, downtown and all over town illuminating the city with the light of Chanukah!
Yasher Koach Mayer! As usual, you run a great CHANUKAH PARADE and many other events!
He’s a real shliach!!
THANKS AS ALWAYS TO THE FELLERS
