A day of achdus was held in Sherman Oaks, CA with 5 camps coming together for a concert and rally featuring the 8th Day Band.
The event was organized and arranged by Simi Raichik from Los Angeles, CA, and co-coordinated with Rabbi Mayer Greene and Rabbi Nachman Abend.
“The energy was unbelievable,” said Rabbi Greene, “8th Day has the amazing ability to reach everyone in the crowd, from all walks of life.”
The 12 pesukim were recited by representatives from each camp followed by a video presentation of the Rebbe.
“We need a lot of this right now,” Shmuel Marcus, lead singer of 8th Day, said. “We must keep strong to the Rebbe’s directive to us that even just a little light can push away a lot of darkness.”

Shkoiach Simi Raichik for organizing this amazing event, which had to move to a larger venue, and in the end still wasn’t large enough to hold all of the excited kids!!! Like the walls of the Bais Hamikdash, they all managed to fit.
The Rebbe was Shepping much Nachas from ALL of the camps and kids whom were there. The Hiskashrus engrained in each of those kids will last a lifetime!!
Simi is amazing and accomplishes sooo much.
