Dear Members of anash
As Yom Kippur approaches, we stand in awe of this important day. Tonight and tomorrow we will all pray to be sealed for a sweet, healthy, and happy new year, and may all our prayers be answered.
The 3 week old baby of the Chabad representatives in North Alabama is currently in a very serious situation in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Baby Devorah Leah bas Mushkaneeds all of our prayers as we start Yom Kippur. We all know that a not-good decree can be turned over with prayer, repentance, Tzedaka, and good deeds.
As Jews we are all one family. We turn to you as Baby Leah’s family, to join us in storming the Heavens for Baby Leah’s complete and speedy recovery. We ask you to please take upon yourself a mitzvah pledge, (whether it be a one time pledge, a daily, weekly, or monthly pledge) in honor of Baby Leah. Please email your pledge to office@chabadofalabama.com and we will surround Baby Leah’s hospital bed with all of the mitzvot that are being done in her honor. At the bottom of this email, there are suggestions of mitzvot to take upon yourself.
As you pray for your friends and family on this awesome day of Yom Kippur, please pray for Devorah Leah bat Mushka that G-d should seal her for a HEALTHY, happy, and sweet new year.
May all our prayers be answered, and may you be sealed for a happy, healthy, and sweet new year with an abundance of blessings!
