Just in time for Purim, Jewish Educational Media (JEM) released a new DVD of an entire Farbrengen of the Rebbe from 5732 (1972) in the main shul of Lubavitch Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway.
Through 10 riveting sichos and a maamar, which are translated in full into seven languages, the Rebbe discusses “the True Miracle of Purim,” lessons from Mordechai, the destructive Mihu Yehudi law, and much more.
Through many months of work, the 5-1/2 hour-long video was meticulously restored, the audio totally replaced, and many gaps and technical problems repaired.
Some 10 individual conversations between the Rebbe and individuals are featured and subtitled, including Israel Shenker, a writer from the New York Times who requests an interview for an upcoming article he will be writing about the Rebbe.
The restored footage includes many moving exchanges and lively niggunim.

In my little opinion, this short clip really brings out the Rebbe’s humility and shows how proud he was of his chassidim
Very excited to get this the week before Purim. I am a member of the Farbrengen Club subscription service and my DVD came yesterday. I stayed up last night to watch parts of it.
