Students from Cheder at the Ohel spent part of their day on Sunday drawing cards and packing mishloach manot for seniors in two local nursing homes.
On Monday, their visits to both the Orzac Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation in Valley Stream and the Garden Care Center in Franklin Square were both very well received by the residents.
At Orzac, sixth grader Baruch Shneor Kalmenson explained the Purim story to the residents, and all the boys sang and brought Purim joy to all.
You look so good, we are so proud of you. It a circus Coustum, a frelichn Purim.
