Jewish rap artist Ari Lesser will be performing in Crown Heights for the first time this Motzei Shabbos.
He will be joining local band Kings Of Dreams, and soul artist Yossi Stern for a night of music, hosted by The Mikimi Gallery at 305 NY ave, brooklyn, NY
Join us for a wonderful night of music in honor of Rosh Chodesh, blending Classic Jewish nigunim with a rap/hip hop twist.
The main act, Ari Lesser is a performer whose focus and passion is making music based on the Torah. He will step into character and rap from the perspective of various personalities in the Tanach, and he has also created rhymed translations of about one third of the book of Psalms, bringing their powerful message back into the realm of song. Ari’s performance brings the Torah to life in a way that is inspirational, accurate, educational, and very entertaining for English speaking audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
The event will take place this Motzei Shabbos at 305 NY Ave, Brooklyn, NY at 8:30pm.
Admissions is $10, food, refreshments and drinks will be sold, and seats will be on a first come first be serve basis. Do to limited space please come early.
