The boys of grades 7 and 8 in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch of Montreal were surprised with a catered breakfast by Mendy’s Kitchen this past Sunday morning.
After Davening, instead of eating their regular breakfast in the lunchroom, the Talmidim were told to go to a shul nearby “Anshei Lubavitch” where tables were set with a full breakfast to mark the beginning of this year’s Chayolei Beis Dovid Program.
Rabbi Yisroel Menkes, Director of Chayolei Beis Dovid programs organized the event and spoke about why this program is so important for the future Bochurim to be involved in this program and how it is going to work.
Rabbi Shmuel Vaisfiche, Rabbi Meir Schneur and Rabbi Levi Itkin all spoke to the Talmidim of how special it is to be a Chayol in the Rebbe’s army, and their responsibilities towards it.
A special thanks to Rabbi Yossi Bryski of OTEG for his support and assistance in this program.
