After completing the Rambam’s Halachos of Traifus, students of the 8th grade at Yeshiva School in Montreal visited a local poultry plant for a hands-on lesson.
Accompanied by teachers Rabbi Yisroel Menkes and Rabbi Meir Schneur, the boys toured the Marvid Poultry plant with employee R’ Avremel Gourarie and saw first-hand details of what they had learned.
Dressed in white lab coats, the boys experienced how a pegimah in a Chalef feels and got to see a Chalef that was cracked, among other lessons.
A big Yasher Koach to R’ Shimmy Traurig, R’ Menachem Lipsh, Mr. M. Hirsch and R’ Zalman Zirkind for the rides.
