b”h i am 69, and i only found out the basic things at kallah class. Until today, their must be kids taht know more than me.
agreed. In case you parents don’t know, us teens are very inquisitive. So we will find the answers, wether by online, or friends. I have a classmate who found out by reading her mother’s books! So if you’d be straightforward, you won’t wonder why your children don’t share things with you anymore.
I know everything. and #21, i did not look on internet. believe it or not, it was a classmate. I hope parents out there are not ignorant. Please tell your children. They know EVERYTHING. Even speeches such as these wont stop it. Wether its in camp, school, from a friend, or wtvr, we know. We are not shut down in a cage.
so wise, so clear, so nice!!!
Now in todays time it is impossible to hide these things from us. We are not locked up ina cage and blindfolded! We see things, hear things, and know things! If my mother is out there and reading this, i’d be happy to know! I want my parents to know what i know, but i can’t tell it straight to them. So to all parents of teenagers, its better for you to tell your children things, then for your children to go looking on the internet for answers to their quistions (i know from expirience!). Your children know much more… Read more »
We teens go on this to. I am listening to this. All we want is approval!
I would like to get a C.D. of this speech. Can you tell me how? My e mail is queenbecker@yahoo.com.
Thank you so much rabbi friedman and thanks col for airing it live!
very crucial and profound points. thank you.
Wow. That was amazing. Thank you !!
I find the answers very vague….if things are being discussed openly, why is it so vague? we still have no idea how to speak to our kids….what should be said exactly? to be vague is going to mix people up.
Thank you collive for having this live
Thanks.
Rabbi friedman has given me such clarity on so many things and all based on Torah knowledge. I can’t wait!!
This is like my prayers being answered. I will be there to hear guidance from Torah, Chassidus, given over as only Manis can!
very excited for this
what age range is this relative to?
Age of children…. not of mothers
Thanks Rabbi Freidman for advising us in in this dark Golus how to guide our youth & more. We want to follow our Rebbe’s direction & you are giving us a helping hand! KEEP UP your lectures so we can witness Moshiach NOW!
Rabbi Friedman always has something smart to say
lookng forward
please, we wanna watch it online!!!
Will we be able to hear this online? please!!
thanks.
Being honest and open with ur children is the key as teens are much more exposed today more than before and will continue to do so, especially in a teen atmosphere the conversations come up. as we all know camp is where we got our education! so why not present things to them the Torah way first!!
Is this relevant for mothers of teenage boys and/or girls?
Thank you for doing this!
Can this be posted on line for those of us out of town that can’t be there?
