“My kids are addicted to the Internet – what do I do?”
“My son is struggling in school, how can I help him?”
“I feel that I do not have a common language with my kids – how can I improve that?”
All parents are constantly looking for ways to improve their parenting. Just as educators look out for meaningful professional development, parents, too, need to develop and improve their parenting skills.
The Merkos Chinuch Office under the direction of Rabbi Nochem Kaplan regularly receives calls, email and letters from Anash and others in Lubavitch communities in the United States and Europe, requesting assistance with their chinuch issues. Many are simply looking for basic help in building a healthy relationship with their children, some with school related problems; what they have in common is the desire to hone their parenting skills.
As a partial response to this, the Chinuch Office is pleased to announce “The Video Chinuch Series.” For the next few months a well-known international educator will make a presentation relating to a chinuch issue that is being faced in our education system. These lectures were recorded at last summer’s Chinuch Kinusim.
In a joint project by COLlive.com and the Chinuch Office, the classes will air once a week for the next few weeks exclusively on COLlive.
Topics and personalities include:
Keeping the Street Outside, Chinuch Inside – Dr. Sholom Zimmerman
How to teach our kids to read better – Dr. Jonhathan Rietti
The Rebbe and the Montessori Method – Mrs. Rivkah Sharfstein
Identifying Early Signs of Learning Disabilities – Mrs. Patrice Morgan
Principles of Education and Guidance – Mrs. Sara Liberman
This groundbreaking series will hopefully give parents and educators a fresh opportunity to grow their parenting and class room teaching skills.
Stay tuned for the first class, beginning next Wednesday.
They should have Tamir Goodman teach. He has amazing education lessons on life VIA Sports.

I agree with #9. I had girls in BRHS and as each one is different, they were each treated with respect and a positive attitude. She should know how much that helped. Yashar koach to her, as those mitzvos keep on going…..
A Dugmah Chaya of the highest order! Morah Lieberman, many hundreds of your students around he world are better people because of you. This is a fact – not just a nicety.
