Making Good of a Stopover

Lubavitch bochurim Yossi Overlander and Yehoshua Gutnick met up in London this week and didn’t miss the opportunity to do some good.

The British born Overlander was traveling from Crown Heights, where he spent the Tishrei month, to Frankfurt, Germany, will he will be on Shlichus for the next year.

The Australian born Gutnick was traveling from Ukraine where he was on Merkos Shlichus during Tishrei, to the Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim in Brunoy, France, where he will learn next year.

With each making a stop over in London, the two met and drove around London on a pair of rented bikes, stopping people they met and asking if they were Jewish, offering them to put on Tefillin.

In front of Buckingham palace they met Vincent from Germany, who had never put on Tefillin before, and they helped him put on Tefillin.

Their parents – and the Rebbe – will without a doubt shep nachas.
