A Chassidic gathering in Flatbush is planned for Thursday, April 14, to celebrate Yud Aleph Nissan, the Lubavitcher Rebbe‘s birthday.
The Farbrengen, organized by Beis Menachem Mendel in Flatbush, will be held at Veretzky Hall, 1102 Avenue L, corner of Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn.
The featured speaker is Rabbi Shmuel Butman, Executive Director of Lubavitch Youth Organization and host of Moshiach on Air on the radio and Shabbos Night Live on COLlive.com.
His talk will center around the question “Since when do Tzaddikim celebrate birthdays?” and include Chassidic tales and insights.
A choir of Lubavitch bochurim will be singing the Rebbe’s 10 niggnim and other Chassidic melodies.
Men and women (with separate seating) are expected to attend the event beginning at 8:00 PM.
Lubavitchers from around the world will be joining via live broadcast on community news service COLlive.com.
Tune in on Thursday, April 14, at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.
