It sure pays to learn.
Students of HaMestivta at United Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn have come to an impressive accomplishment and got a fun reward for it.
After months of consistent learning and reviewing, the young bochurim have mastered over 5 blatt of Gemara.
After passing a written test with over 100 questions, the bochurim were further farhered by Rabbi Mendel Polter, former Rosh Yeshiva of the Chabad Mesivta in Monsey, and pioneer of the PreMesivta.com.
Known for his clarity and depth of understanding in Gemara, Rabbi Polter expressed, “I was amazed at how comfortable the Bochurim were with the Gemara. They were able to open it up to any place and read it fluently.”
The students were then rewarded for their efforts with an ice skating trip. “They sure deserved it,” commented Rabbi Moshe Lieblich, Director of Hamesivta.
