Today, 19th of Teves marks 58 years since the founding of the Educational Institute Oholei Torah. Today, known as the Flagship School of Chabad, the mossad has grown from a small kindergarten to a full servicing yeshiva, from kindergarten till Beis Medrash, with an enrollment of 1800 talmidim, ka”h.
Rabbi Yosef Chaim HaKohen Rosenfeld, Executive Director, often says looking at Oholei Torah’s growth its accomplishments you can see the Rebbe’s brochos and koichos each and every day!
As Oholei Torah nears its Shnas HaShishim, Rabbi Sholom HaKohen Rosenfeld, Director, was quoted saying “we are now entering into an era of expansion and tremendous growth. Plans are already approved for the New student residence building, and with the growth of the community, Oholei Torah must prepare to open its doors to more talmidim, and give them the very best, both in a chassidishe chinuch, and the best comforts with a proper building with all the necessary amenities.”
The day is being marked in all the divisions of the school with special rallies, treats and farbrengens.
Below is a video clip of an alumni reunion where Rabbi Moshe Wilhelm speaks of the growth of the Mossad, and the special qualities found only in Oholei Torah.
