NJ’s Largest Menorah Lit

Close to 200 people came out in the rain to celebrate the first night of Chanukah in Monroe, where NJ’s largest Menorah was lit.

Local dignitaries were present, alongside prominent community members, who participated in lighting the giant Menorah, with Shliach Rabbi Eliezer Zaklikovsky, which is a replica of the National Menorah in Washington, DC.

A special Chanukah essay was presented by Matti Zaklikovsky, age 9, on “What Chanukah means to me”.

Cantor Zev Guttman delivered masterful Chanukah melodies, while a group of dedicated Bochurim from Rabbinical Collage of America brought much joy with their dancing.

Many dozens of people stayed in the comfort of their cars and watched the proceedings, where they were brought delicious doughnuts and hot coco.

For those who couldn’t brave the harsh weather, the event was covered by local NJ TV channel 12 and shown throughout the entire evening.
