The “Safety Kid” program, which was introduced to great acclaim Sunday night to Crown Heights parents at Oholei Torah by the Merkos Chinuch Office, will be repeated tonight at the Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street at 8:00 pm.
The “Safety Kid” seminar addressed the grave issue of Child Abuse in the Jewish community, and provides training for parents, teachers and children on how to combat the epidemic. More than 600 parents attended the Sunday night session and those who were unable to attend Sunday will be able to do so tonight.
Parents were given an overviewed of the instructional program of the children and practical advice on how to detect abuse, how to deal with a scenario of suspected abuse, and how to help educate their children to avoid such circumstances in the first place.
