Baruch Dayan Haemes: R’ Shmuel Dovid Parnes, a Bobover chossid and a long time resident in Crown Heights, passed away on Sunday, Av 28, 5771.
He was 85.
He worked in his family’s button factory before retiring and devoting his life to learning with love and devotion.
He is survived by Feige Jacobson – Crown Heights, Asher Parnes – Jerusalem, Shea Parnes – Crown Heights, Moshe Binyomin Parnes – Flatbush, Esty Montel – Flatbush; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is also survived by two siblings: Rochel Schwable and Avraham Parnes, both of Boro Park.

this is a terrible loss of the community but the fact that he lived untill now baruch hashem all credit is owed to faigy jacobson !!! who took him her father into her home and fed him and really made his life mch easier ! i hope hes enjoying gan eden ….so sad
