It’s not the bochurim who need to realize, it’s the people around. If they walk around with hats and jackets it diesn’t meen they think less of those who don’t. I agree with you, just don’t blame the bochurim.

Tishri is about Hashem nothing more, nothing less the guys you see there, having a good time at simchas beis are doing it as part of a yom tov ergo its about hashem
besides don’t you ever do mivtzoim also what the bloomin heck is your definition of a “regular bochur” or for that matter a regular yeshiva (is part of the criteria that they get drunk and or act like complete jerks to the people they don’t agree with %100?)
I was realy inspred by a lot of these boys who came for tishrei!

The fact that more than half the people interviewed are aussie(even though there is a $2000 price-tag)…just shows who cares most about going to the Rebbe for tishrei.
I happen to agree 100% with 31. all the people interviewed should have been regular bochurim.
“Simchas Beis” is actually a higher level than RH and YK in some respects. A neshama’s relationship with Hashem and also with Moshe evdo is personal. You carry on with what Tishrei means to you and I say ashreinu that we have the magnet of 770 to help these boys climb the ladder until they reach your rung. you have a point.. but I believe no matter what level someone is holding If hes coming to tishrei to come out a different person then tishrei is for him.. and I know most of the people on that video and yes they came to have fun(also most bochrim do) but ultimately they came for the change.. and I think tishrei is for them the same as the typical bochur.(in a different way obviously) you agree with me?

Congrats if this is a debut film. Nice use of scenery to enhance the clip; however interviews should have been shot head on. In addition, I would like to point out that plenty of women and girls also come to spend Tishrei witht he Rebbe. By only filming men/boys you are gaining a very one sided opinion of the ‘varied visitors/Tishrei message’. As long as the women and girls are dressed Tzniously I don’t see an issue with including them in this clip.
Wow!! Loved the interviews, video quality, and background music. I loved loved the shots taken in 770, it beautifully captured the pure moments in 770. As well as the achdus artfully portrayed at simchas beis. Overall, you did a great job! I even watched it twice and commented! 😉

This is great on so many levels. First it gives me, a teacher in a Yeshiva more of insight on what the teeneagers are thinking when they come here. Also, its nice and uplifting that the video should be such a kiddush Hashem with a great theme. It makes me feel more responsible to host and to do more mitzvoim! Keep the Mitzvoim videos coming!
obviously th clip isn’t supposed to project what tishrei is about but then how come all the visitors that are interviewed here aren’t your typical bochur. tishrei is about regular bochurim from regular yeshivos coming to crown heights to spend time in the rebbes sviva. not for guys dressed up as if they’re on the way to a club to hang out at “simchas beis”!!
