Comedian Dave Schneider and over 100 students gathered at Chabad at Manchester Universities to launch the exciting Jewish student study program, JLearn.
“What a hilarious comedian! What a way to launch JLearn,” said Rabbi Zalmy Loewenthal, director for Chabad on Campus serving Manchester Universities and organizer of the local JLearn chapter.
“He created an electric atmosphere,” said Lara Kaplan, a law student at Manchester University. “He had us in fits of laughter with his interactive sketches!’
JLearn is an international learning program, hosted at campus Chabad Houses all over the world and aims to give Jewish students identity, empowerment and knowledge. The classes in Manchester will be given by the world renowned Rabbi Yossi Chazzan of the Holy Law congregation.
